Job Title: Service Technician

Compensation: $60,000- $120,000 per year + Sign On Bonus = $2,500.00

Work Hours: 7:00 am to 4:30 pm, Monday through Friday and very LIMITED on-call

The Service Technician is responsible for performing day-to-day service calls, tune-ups and troubleshooting for new and existing clients.

Reports to: Service Manager

Job Status: Full Time

Pay Type: Hourly

Pay Rate: Highly Competitive with Excellent Benefits

Location: Charleston, SC

Work start and end time: 8:00 - 5:00 Monday to Friday, some evenings and weekends as needed; on-call rotation

Position Summary: To provide maintenance and repairs on a wide variety of residential and commercial heating and air conditioning systems according to company standards providing the customer with a high quality experience. 

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Diagnose and repair all types of residential heating, cooling & IAQ products
• Maintain accurate and detailed dispatch/invoice notes of the services performed
• Responsible for delivery of excellent customer service and sustaining high levels of customer satisfaction
• Maintain professional demeanor and attitude at all times.
• Diagnoses and performs services on heating, air conditioning, ventilation, and refrigeration equipment, as well as accessories, in an accurate and timely manner
• Inspects equipment and performs diagnostics on equipment to identify potential problems to prevent premature and unexpected breakdowns or callbacks
• Responsible for delivery and removal of parts and equipment needed to complete service work
• Performs day-to-day service calls, tune-ups, and troubleshooting
• Promotes products and services to the customer; calls Sales and Service Coordinator with specifics on replacement product sales leads generated from customer service visit

Qualifications and Skills:

• Ability to multi-task
• Willingness to learn new processes and procedures as technology changes
• Willingness to invest your time in training seminars and classes for personal development
• Commit to developing "Over-The-Top" customer service skills
• Organized
• Geographical knowledge of sales area or map reading skills
• HVAC experience a plus
• Must have a valid driver’s license
• Clear communication skills
• Ability to use positive language
• Ability to handle surprises
